About

About Me

Hey there, my name is Varun Jain. I’m a student studying Integrated Biomedical Engineering and Health Sciences at McMaster University. I have a strong interest in biomedical engineering, coding, and software development, and a keen passion towards medicine. My dream is to create Machine Vision and Machine Learning software possible for diagnosing patients and performing surgeries without human assistance with a high degree of accuracy. Ultimately minimizing the number of misdiagnosis and failures during treatments by doctors and surgeons. As a person, I admire innovation and strongly believe that innovative thinking is what drives our world. When I am not doing my LONCAPAs, I love playing sports like rugby and baseball and I absolutely love to swim.
